Tom Neukranz brings over 30 years of global capital-markets and investment experience to Pulsar Capital Management, combining institutional finance leadership with hands-on venture investing across the U.S. technology landscape.
As Founder and CEO of Global Pacific Capital, Tom has led investments in a range of high-growth private companies across the United States. His investment focus spans enterprise software, cybersecurity, fintech, and next-generation infrastructure—sectors where he partners closely with founding teams to scale operations, accelerate market adoption, and build enduring enterprise value.
Prior to his current roles, Tom held senior executive positions at leading global financial institutions including Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Aegon Asset Management, RS Investments, and CleanFund Commercial PACE Capital, where he built and managed institutional distribution, capital-markets, and partnership platforms worldwide. Over his career, he has raised more than $12 billion in institutional and private-market capital and led global teams across the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
In addition to his investment activities, Tom serves on the Stanford Cancer Institute’s Patient and Family Advisory Council, reflecting his commitment to patient advocacy and social impact.
Michael Ko / Managing partner
Michael Ko is the Founder and Managing Partner of Pulsar Capital Management, where he provides strategic oversight while his executive team manages the firm’s investment funds.
With over 20 years of experience in financial advisory and investment management, Michael has successfully invested in early and growth-stage venture companies across the U.S. and Asia.
Before founding Pulsar Capital Management, he held key roles at Morgan Stanley (Japan & Hong Kong) and Merrill Lynch (Japan), serving as a valuation specialist and risk manager for a $3.4 billion principal investment portfoliospanning private equity, special situations, and structured finance.
Earlier in his career, he played a pivotal role in advising international clients on M&A transactions and valuation services during his tenure at Financial Advisory Services, Deloitte.
Michael is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of CPAs. He holds an MS in Financial Engineering from Yonsei University and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
